Lovely little park with great views across the dee

Dawstone Park, located on the westerly slopes of the Wirral Peninsula, offers stunning views of the Dee Estuary and the Welsh Hills1. The Friends of Dawstone Park, a dedicated volunteer group, plays a crucial role in maintaining the park’s beauty and ensuring it remains a welcoming space for all. Despite its steep gradients, the park is accessible, with plenty of seating for visitors to relax and enjoy the serene environment.

Excellent site, clean facilities and hot huge power showers. The staff member was really friendly and the site is super quiet. This campsite is in a beautiful location, single track 1/2 mile entrance with no passing points to the site - but worth it. Excellent for dog owners as there is an acre field on site specifically for dog walks and a small area with 2 goals and a basketball hoop for the kids to play in. We will be rebooking soon. This little park is a hidden gem with beautiful views over the River Dee to North Wales. Plenty of seats to rest awhile with a children's play area. Lovely well kept flowerbeds an added bonus.
