Had the place to ourselves. Lovely gentle walk along though the reserve and back along the river bank. Highly recommended

Lovely and quiet at 8pm on a sunny Sunday evening in July. Plenty of benches around the lakes so you can sit and watch the wildlife. Free to enter, just make sure you close all gates behind you as there were sheep and evidence of other livestock 💩

Nice short walk around the lakes. There is a bird hide and a couple of viewing points where you can see the nesting comorants and swans. Free parking too.

Looks nice if want to walk around canal river,but reserve got fence and you can not go inside and to get till car park it is very bad road with a lot of patholes.

It was easy to find it. Has a small 1.8 miles walk around this beautiful forest. And its quiet and peaceful. There are benches around but not the bins. Car park is free. There tiny animals around and bird watching places. Nice way to relax and paint.
