A lovely local nature reserve. Me and my partner sometimes go here for a short walk and to see the birds. The place is looked after with a few ponds and a bird watching area. There is a main path going through, then some mud trail type paths too. There's a layby on the main road where we parked, then we walked across the road and down a public footpath into the reserve.

Visited the reserve on Tuesday, June 25th hoping to see dragonflies. Instead, I met a wonderful park ranger (I forgot his name) who was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The whole reserve is very well maintained and the ranger has great plans for the future of it. Highly recommended!

Nice spot by the river. Maintained well by the trust:) very good for bird watching note to trust: there are some Himalayan balsam that are invasive so they need to be removed

Great place for walking and bird spotting. If you're lucky you may even see the deer.
