In April, we visited Devil’s Bridge with our children, and it was a truly unique experience. The dramatic scenery and breathtaking views made every step worthwhile. Walking through the steep climbs and descents added a sense of adventure, while the impressive waterfalls and the famous historic bridges created an unforgettable atmosphere. The legend behind Devil’s Bridge makes the visit even more fascinating. It was a wonderful day out for the whole family and a great opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Wales.

I recently visited Devil’s Bridge and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. The first thing that stood out to me was how beautiful the surrounding landscape is. The area is full of lush greenery, dramatic rock formations, and breathtaking views. As I made my way along the walking trail, I was constantly stopping to take photos because there was something impressive around every corner. The waterfalls are particularly spectacular and well worth the climb down the steps to see them up close. Although some sections of the trail are quite steep, I found the walk manageable and rewarding. The sound of the rushing water and the views from different points along the route made the effort worthwhile. I would definitely recommend wearing comfortable footwear, especially if the ground is wet, as some areas can be slippery. One of the most interesting aspects of the visit was learning about the three bridges that give the site its name. The history behind them adds an extra layer of interest and makes the attraction more than just a scenic walk. It’s fascinating to see how the bridges have been built one above another over different periods of time. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Devil’s Bridge. It’s a great destination for anyone who enjoys nature, walking, photography, or local history. The scenery is truly impressive, and the combination of natural beauty and historical significance makes it a place I would happily recommend to others. I’m really glad I visited and would definitely return if I’m in the area again.

Come on the railway from Aberystwyth and take the walk down and back up. £5.50 for adults and it is not the easiest. Most of the steps are slate so good footwear is advised and the steps are not even. Even so I enjoyed the walk up and down to the river with good views of the falls and the occasional whistle of the railway in the background.

Lovely views on this walk but alot of uneven steps. It took us 45 mins to do at a slow pace stopping for pics etc. It has 675 steps on the circular walk and we paid £5.50 each. We went on Saturday about 2pm and it wasn't busy only saw a few people. There is also a nice few little cafes around outside and also a free car park. There is also another short circular walk on the opposite side which is £2 and is around 10 mins more suitable with kids.

It is an ideal destination for anyone who enjoys nature, photography, or exploring hidden gems in Wales. The area was well maintained, with helpful staff, nearby parking, and cafés available for visitors. Comfortable shoes are definitely recommended as some paths can be slippery, especially after rain. Overall, Devil’s Bridge Falls is a fantastic attraction that offers beautiful scenery, peaceful surroundings, and a memorable outdoor experience. I would highly recommend visiting if you are travelling through Wales or looking for a scenic day out.
