Devil's Point Park sits at the southern tip of the Stonehouse peninsula, offering spectacular views across Plymouth Sound to Mount Edgcumbe and Drake's Island. The park is open 24 hours daily and offers free entry for all visitors. The park provides excellent facilities for families, including well-maintained paved paths suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs, seating throughout, and a small café located on the approach to the waterfront. The site forms part of the South West Coast Path, offering walking opportunities between the Royal William Yard and the Hoe. Devil's Point forms part of a European Marine Site with designated conservation areas, supporting important wildlife including avocets, bottle-nosed dolphins, basking sharks, seahorses and the rare pink sea fan coral. The park is also designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and County Wildlife Site due to its geological formations and rare plant species including Field Eryngo. Beyond its natural beauty, Devil's Point holds significant historical interest, with visible Second World War defences and its role in naval history. Recent improvements through the Blossom Together initiative have enhanced the landscape near the Royal William Yard walkway, creating an improved space for both wildlife and visitors.

I was told about Devils Point so I walked here from central Plymouth and I wasn't disappointed. I grabbed a proper brew from the cafe which is run by some very friendly folk and went and found a bench to sit on. The bench is sat on top of an old WW2 gun emplacement and offers the most stunning views out over the bay, you can see an island and across the bay is Cornwall, thoroughly recommend.

Really friendly cafe serving proper brews in a beautiful location, only choice to make is which way to walk to admire the views. Either way is totally accessible for disabled people with benches and shelters along both paths, very friendly people adding to the amazing location. Feeling brave and able the swimming access is good with plenty of changing locations. If you're lucky you get to spot some of our Historic treasures, Royal Navy vessels 🇬🇧🇦🇨🇦🇮🇦🇺🇧🇲🇨🇰🇩🇬🇫🇯🇫🇰🇬🇸🇭🇲🇮🇴🇰🇾🇲🇸🇳🇺🇳🇿🇵🇳🇸🇭🇹🇦🇹🇨🇹🇻🇻🇬.

Love it here, Plymouth, my hometown back to visit friends, had a mug of tea at the little shack, and took in the view just stunning. You can also visit the Royal Willam yard you can park in the car park for 3 hours. It's worth a visit for the scenery alone. Would recommend to others.

Breathtaking views of the sea and mountains, 3 hours free parking. Make sure you get your parking ticket from the ticket machine. Behind the large wall is the William state that you can walk around. Plenty of cafe, restaurants and shops to have a look around. It's a great spot to just relax. Swim in the sea or go walking. You can see the naval ships also that was amazing. If the car park is full just wait a couple of minutes people come and go regularly we waited about 10 minutes for a parking space.
