It's was awesome. So much fun and our guide Ellie knew so much and was very engaging. Would definitely recommend!
A small but mighty interactive museum. There isn't loads to see here but what there is is really fascinating & informative. Our visit was a weekday morning in-between some school trips so we had the place to ourselves along with another parent & child. Our guide was so informative & enthusiastic - our 5 & 7 year old loved his talk. Both boys loved the actual dig bit, although they wanted to find treasure to keep 😂 all in all it was a great stop off in the morning before undertaking the rest of our day
Fantastic experience for the kids (aged 3 and 5) - the introduction was engaging and informative for all ages, adults included! Great crowd control and the DIG session after was fun and didn’t feel rushed at all. Be sure to purchase your tickets before hand as it does get busy!
My nine year old really enjoyed DIG. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Interactive. Interesting artefacts. Do book if you can, especially during school holidays! We got the pass for DIG, Barley Hall and Jorvik which was good value.
This was a great experience, even for our youngest (aged 4). Adam who was our guide was really engaging, interactive and pitched the talk really well for all age levels. I would highly recommend a visit to DIG
