Lovely place to visit even when no seals. Donna nook military aera so can see targets near the sea so not a place can just walk anywhere but there is alot of places to still walk beautiful scenery will be back and not just when seals are in pup

This is a great place to go to see loads of seals. Best time of year to go is probably October-January. I’ve been in December and January but December was much better as there were plenty of seals. In January there will only be the last few stragglers. If you go at the right time you’ll see the most seals ever. It’s amazing to see. If you are in the area or just want to go and see seals then I would really recommend this place

Decent car park with food and drink van near entrance, nice easy walk along the side of the nature reserve with a fence separating you and the seals. They come really close to the fence though. Plenty of volunteers available who are helpful and informative. A little shop half way down selling postcards, magnets, plushies etc. Information boards setup along the walk with trivia questions. Great day out for the family or to just see some seals up close.

Seeing the Seals was a great experience, there was about 1800 on the beach and they came right up to the fence. Car parking is easy with the official car park with easy access but limited spaces. There is a £5 park next to it with loads of space but beware if its very wet it can be a slippy experience. Food stalls are there as well.

Never thought I'd get so close these beautiful animals. Respect the distance. Well worth a visit. Need to get there in November and December to see the seals. Quite a few pups born today, but didn't see them being born.
