Hot day. My first time at Chesil. It's utterly breathtaking. I was disarmed by the desolation of the place. Barren, but alive. Try the famous lighthouse just down the road. Deffo pleased I visited the area

What a lovely little place. Quite quaint. And informative, with a coffee shop toilets and The adar key Disabled toilet. But kick at 8pm/2000hrs Lovely see the artists formatting their chosen scenery also, quite a sedating experience as in quite and peaceful ful if the sea are with just over the pebble hill the sea where many go. Grateful for this place. All within a stones throw.

Superb visitor centre (and shop)which does a very good job explaining the nature and geology of this magnificent area and the cafe / restaurant (Licenced) managed by Salt Pig is superb with it's very tasty local food products and beautiful views out across the Fleet and Chesil beach

Visited the cafe and found a good selection of food, it was late for lunch, but they still had plenty of choice, with some great vegan and vegetarian options. Food was very tasty and the coffee good. I think this cafe can get quite busy, but with plenty of seating, inside and out, this was not a problem. It was a great stopping point on our cycle ride to Portland.

Haven for walkers and bird watchers. Very nice visitor centre. Plenty of information about Chesil Beach, the wild flowers that grow there and the wildlife that inhabits the area. There’s a few children’s activities that go on here. Shop is well stocked, sell decent binoculars as well as all sorts of items. Bonus to visiting here is The Taste Cafe, food is always good, staff are friendly, toilets clean.
