I loved it very nice and quiet place but there is no restaurant nearby, not even a café like this one lacks more attention and services like cafes, restaurants

A fantastic place for walking with family and friends. You can go all the way round the reservoir if you’re feeling energetic. What’s more, there’s an exceptional café overlooking the reservoir on the south side. Would recommend if travelling in the Rugby area. There’s fantastic parking at a reasonable price too.

The full circular is not operational due to engineering works, but the half-circular walk is still worthwhile.

Very disappointing. Came to walk around reservoir and use cafe only to find that dogs are not permitted on three of four walks. The only walk allowed is a token ten minute walk near car park. Of course by the time we parked and got dressed up for the weather it was too late to leave without paying the £3.50 parking fee! Won’t come back. At least put this sign near the entrance so we can turn around and not pay for the disappointment

**Review for Draycote Water in Rugby:** Draycote Water is a fantastic spot in Rugby for a peaceful day out in nature. The large, tranquil lake is perfect for a leisurely walk, with a well-maintained pathway that makes it easy to navigate. It's a great place to bring the family, with plenty of green spaces where you can set up a picnic and enjoy the serene environment. One of the best things about Draycote Water is that entry is completely free, making it an affordable option for a day out. The parking fees are reasonable too, with £3 for two hours or £5 for the entire day, so you can stay as long as you like without breaking the bank. Plus, there's a spacious car park, so finding a spot is never an issue. The amenities are excellent, with clean and well-maintained toilets at the entrance, and a restaurant where you can grab a meal or a snack. The ice creams here are especially good—definitely a must-try! There's also a play area for kids, which adds to the family-friendly appeal. Do note that the closing time has recently changed to 6:30 PM, so plan your visit accordingly. Whether you're looking to relax, take a peaceful walk, or spend quality time with your family, Draycote Water is the perfect destination. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a tranquil escape with great facilities and beautiful surroundings.
