Very nice indeed here, if you don't fancy the parks offering, it is literally 5 mins walk to one of the most impressive beaches I have seen in England. Highly recommended 👌

Absolutely stunning country park. Good place for paddleboard beginerss. Has a nice camping area although the shower block is too far from the camping area. Could do with some more bins around the camp site area for dogs muck. Just a few yards from a gorgeous beach.

Wonderful long, sandy beach across the road about 80 - 100 from the P&D car park Visitors centre has toilets with a shower in the ladies, incl disabled loo, cafe and great kids play area all next to a lake...good to sit for a picnic on a warm day (we have been here before)

Beautiful place! There's a lovely walk right around the lake. Stepping stones at the far end (my daughter fell in when she was little which we have NEVER mentioned again 😆 🤣 😂 - it's very shallow and she's still alive!). These can be avoided by walking a bit further. Cross over the road from the car park and you're on one of the most beautiful beaches in England. Very nice cafe who actually do gluten-free options!

It is a little piece of heaven..I think it is around 1.5 miles to walk around the lake. It is very beautiful even in cold weather. A really lovely cafe with very reasonable prices. We had two bacon/sausage sandwiches which consisted of four sausages and a thick bacon rasher. All this for £4. I would highly recommend.
