We visited the beautiful Guildford Castle Gardens today—everything was in full bloom, and the tulips were stunning, vibrant, and full of colour. It's just in the towns high street. Very peaceful and relaxing place to visit. Perfect spot for picnic....

Dulwich Park is a real gem in South London, and I find myself returning to it often for a peaceful escape. It's a beautifully maintained space that manages to be both expansive and welcoming at the same time. The park offers a bit of everything for everyone. The large, open green spaces are perfect for a picnic or a game of football, while the walking paths are beautifully lined with trees, making for a pleasant stroll or jog. I particularly love the boating lake—it adds a wonderfully tranquil element and is a great spot to just sit and watch the world go by. The gardens are always well-cared for, with colorful flowerbeds and an impressive variety of plants throughout the seasons. It's a place that feels a world away from the busy city, yet it's so easy to access. Whether you’re looking to get some exercise, spend a day with the family, or simply find a quiet bench to read a book, Dulwich Park delivers. It's a testament to good public space and a real credit to the area.

Dulwich Park is a large, welcoming green space with something for everyone. I only had time for a short walk, but I passed wide tree-lined paths, flower beds, a duck pond, and plenty of open lawns. There’s also a café, a boating lake, and areas for cycling and tennis. It’s well cared for and feels like a proper retreat from the city, even though it’s so accessible. I’ll definitely return for a longer stroll or to sit and enjoy the atmosphere on a sunny day.
