A playground with stunning views of Salisbury Crags and Holyrood Park, ideal as a play break during park visits.

Perched between Dumbiedykes Road and Queen's Drive, this playground's main attraction isn't the equipment—it's the stunning panoramic views of Salisbury Crags and Holyrood Park. The facilities include multi-play units with slides, fireman's poles, and climbing nets, plus standard and toddler swings and a toddler-specific climbing structure. While the playground may look a little unloved, it's clean and functional, making it worthwhile as a stop during Holyrood Park walks rather than a cross-town destination. Benches provide seating for adults enjoying the scenic backdrop. Convenient for neighbourhood residents and park visitors seeking a play break with exceptional views.

Very good playground for the kids. Parents can sit on the bench and enjoy the view and weather while reading a book or watching the kids playing

The playground equipment is in decent condition. Nothing super exciting here but my goodness whata view. This was the perfect park to let our kids run off some steam well enjoying the gorgeous natural sides of Edinburgh.

Great view and place to unwind with our toddler. Nobody else there when we visited. Some of the equipment is a little beat up but not in any way that the kids care about...
