We stayed in one of the yurts at Dumble Farm for two nights and had such a wonderful, relaxing stay. The farm is a beautiful conservation farm, and the Highland cows are absolutely stunning—they're definitely one of the highlights! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was so peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind. We also joined the quiz night at the Boozy Coo bar on site, which was great fun and a lovely way to spend the evening. The gift shop has some lovely items, and we couldn't resist picking up a few gifts to take home. Our yurt was very well equipped with everything we needed, a log burner, cooking facilities, books and board games, which were a nice touch. Outside, we had our own private screened decking area with a BBQ and fire pit, making it perfect for relaxing after a day exploring. Set in an idyllic part of Yorkshire, Dumble Farm is a must-visit if you enjoy glamping, camping, nature, and, of course, beautiful Highland cows. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it! Thanks to the owners and there so we will be back to visit very soon 😀

What an incredible experience, did the hands on highland cow experience and its was wonderful. All the organisers were great and full of knowledge, even able to bake delicious cakes. The cows are well cared for and enjoy the experience. Highly recommend, this will be my first trip of many.

My daughter and I booked the Cow Cuddling and Highland Cow Experience. It was worth every penny!! The team are friendly and knowledgeable and, of course we loved the cows. Although it is June, we needed to warm up with tea and delicious cake halfway through. Thank you for a fantastic morning!

A massive thank you to Fi and her family for the most relaxing and beautiful break. We stayed 2 nights in a yurt called Morag, bed was so comfortable, yurt was really cute and cosy- very clean, homely and had all you need. I would definitely recommend and would love to come back for more peaceful time away (and to see all those lovely cows and goats!) The yurt had a private deck overlooking fields with a fire pit and bbq, the nearby cows and calfs were great neighbours, one big mamma took an interest in viewing us back :) Tons of birds swooping in and out of the trees. We really enjoyed the view. While we stayed we also took part in the cow safari on site which gave a good history of the farm and the conservation project they are now leading, it was also excellent getting close up for feeding (and quick pets) with the cows, bulls and calfs across the site. Absolutely loved this place x

We visited Dumble Farm for my partner’s birthday, and it truly didn’t disappoint. A huge thank you to the whole team — you do an amazing job. Everything was so well organised, and we loved how close we were able to get to the cows. The day began with a video about the incredible conservation work happening on the farm, followed by grooming the younger Highland cows. After that, we had the chance to cuddle the dairy cows and the male Highland, which was such a calming, unforgettable experience. We then enjoyed delicious cakes and drinks before walking the cows up the track on halters. It was a fantastic day from start to finish and an experience we’ll never forget. We can’t wait to return in the future.
