Excellent location with enthusiastic staff on hand to answer questions and help point out the Ospreys or other birds of prey. The reserve is not a zoo, there is no guarantee of seeing the ospreys as you have to go at the correct time of year as they are a migratory species. Do your research before you complain to staff about it. While I didn’t investigate too closely, from what I could tell, the reserve is wheelchair friendly with a lift up to the osprey observation tower (see 3 of 4 photos) Landscape is beautiful, peaceful and clearly designed to be beneficial to local flora and fauna. Cafe was also nice with lovely snacks and drinks.

The whole lay out of this centre is on a boardwalk which makes access around so easy. It's peaceful and full of wildlife, insects and birds. As you walk along the molinia grasses, willows, purple loosestrife adding colour surround you. The huge viewing platforms with telescopes and viewing screens of the nest are amazing and give excellent views over the area. Well worth a stop for a brew and some cracking breath taking scenery.

The place caters to everyone, from younger children to older people. There are lovely views and beautiful surroundings, with lots of things to see, from wildlife to the opportunity to spot ospreys. The food is healthy and reasonably priced. However, they don't offer family tickets, which is a bit disappointing. Overall, it was okay for me. If you're looking for somewhere to spend a few hours and enjoy the surroundings, this place is worth a visit.

Amazing place , wonderful views of Osprey through the binoculars and on live stream screens . Cafe served delicious food at reasonable prices and the gift shop had lots of choice from pocket money size things for the children to more expensive items . Highly recommend a visit and I will be returning as soon as I can . Currently I am addicted to watching the osprey project on YouTube!

We didnt visit the reserve but we did visit the cafe and shop, which allows you also to see the most amazing cameras with live images of Ospreys feeding youngsters! It was amazing. The food selection was very good too and the cakes scrumptious.
