Lovely place to visit, for anyone that enjoys planes. The ground has many planes to view and some planes you are allowed to go inside. There is also a volunteer there inside to tell you more about the use of the plane, how it works and what all the buttons is about. Take a picnic and relax while watching the planes take off and land.

Lovely family place. Lots of yang children and aviation enthusiasts... Very nice view for runaway ... Nice range of aircrafts. Place best to visit on sunny warm day. Not expensive. Great volunteers and all staff... very kind...

To be honest, this was my biggest museum disappointment. I'm very let down. Despite the beautiful weather, most of the aircraft and cockpits remained closed, even though ladders were standing right next to them. The staff were generally unhelpful (with the exception of the lady at the entrance, the gentlemen in the shop, and the Nimrod R1 team). I certainly won't be visiting again. It's a shame, because while there are many wonderful aircraft on display, I did not enjoy my visit at all. Very disappointing. 😞😞

It's certainly worth 5 stars on a sunny day when you have lots of volunteers in and there's lots of aircraft to go inside. On a rainy, cold day it's not quite as interesting. I would give the cafe and coffee a miss. There's a great spot to view the limited landings and take offs that East Midlands operates. At £5 for adults and £3 for children, you can't really complain.

A little gem of a place. Great selection of planes, some of which you can go inside of, and the staff are very knowledgeable and on hand to answer any questions about the planes. Take a picnic and a blanket and you can watch the planes from EMA, too. Our two little boys had a great time! Will definitely be back
