Very peaceful area, very good for picnic and best for family time and evening or morning walks.

Spending the day at Eastbrookend Country Park was a fantastic outdoor experience. One of the most unique features I encountered was the impressive wooden sculpture—it's such a creative touch to the natural landscape. The lakes were bustling with life, and I spent quite a bit of time watching the swans and geese glide across the water. It’s an incredibly peaceful spot for photography or just to clear your head. Whether you’re interested in bird watching, hiking the nature trails, or just enjoying a picnic with a view, this park has a wonderful, open feel that makes you forget you're still in the city. Very good park with trails for long quiet walks. Although when my wife saw the info about the grass snakes and adders she got scared and put off lol. Dedicated area at the front for picnics and the cafe looked decent and very busy. Also has a discovery centre doing various activities too.

A Hidden Gem at Sunset We had a fantastic time at Eastbrookend Country Park! Took part in Arty’s Sculpture Trail — such a creative and engaging activity, especially for families. We went just before sunset, and the lighting made everything feel magical. Got some amazing photos with the sculptures and the golden sky in the background. Peaceful, well-maintained, and full of charm. Highly recommend for a relaxing walk, a bit of art, and some beautiful nature.

Great nature reserve which is largely untouched, not the sort of thing you would expect to find in such an urban area! You will find free roaming rabbits and horses here and it’s fairly quiet. Plenty of free parking is available via the Dagenham Road entrance and here there is also a well maintained playground and a cafeteria.
