Eastwood Park has an amazing play area for toddlers and older kids, as well as a huge football field and a multi-use sports area. It’s a fantastic open space with beautifully maintained paths, perfect for a long walk or cycling

I spent some time at Eastwood Park in Hasland recently, and it’s a classic, high-quality Victorian park that feels like the real pride of the local area. It’s got that traditional "grand park" layout, complete with wide avenues and beautifully maintained flower beds that give it a very elegant feel. The Village Grass area is the standout feature—a huge, open space that’s perfect for community events or just a proper run-around. I was particularly impressed by the play facilities and the sports hubs; the tennis courts and bowling greens are clearly well-used and add a nice bit of energy to the grounds. There’s a lovely balance here between the active zones and the quieter, shaded spots under the mature trees where you can sit and clear your head. What makes Eastwood Park special is how well-loved it feels. It’s immaculate, safe, and serves as a genuine social hub for Hasland. Whether you’re stopping for a coffee at the café or taking a circular walk around the perimeter, it feels like a very dignified and welcoming "green heart" for the town.

Fantastic park for all ages of kids there’s lots of seating and wide open areas for football, et cetera. They have toilet which is a huge plus but the only downside is they are dirty and horrible. Good car parking space.

A lovely park with great play equipment for the kids. It is nice that all the equipment has soft safe surfaces under it. Looks a lot better since they replaced the very old & tired out fountain with some lovely flowers.

This has to be one of the best maintened local parks in Chesterfield. A great hard path around the circumference of the park to so great for poor weather walking still, a loverly fountain in the summer months too. And a well established play Area with zip line, slides, climbing frames, swings, slides and sand pit etc
