Wonderful wooded common. Not all the footpaths on the map translate into visible paths on the ground but the gorgeous woodland stretches in every direction. Fantastic for dogs.

An extraordinary ancient forest. Its incredibly beautiful. With all the rain recently the streams are everywhere. The sound of running water, the birds singing and lots of fungi to find make this a go to place for peace and connection to nature.

Such an incredible find. Visited during mushroom season and was jaw dropped on how many there were. Also to advise you are not allowed to pick them here as it is an Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Nice sized car park and free, though you cannot park during church service.

Peaceful nature reserve in the green and pleasant Sussex countryside, crossed by a network of paths accessible from a small free parking area. Sheltered ponds and streams provide a habitat for wildlife, and there's history to see in the form of old brickworks structures in the woods. Information boards are provided to explain more about the area's history. A small area of open hillside provides a nice contrast to the mostly wooded environment. The small church by the entrance to the nature reserve is worth a look while visiting, an attractive red brick building dating back to the 19th century.

Have been planning a visit here for a little wile, ended up getting round to head over there at last. The reserve was as good as I hoped even this time of year being so wet. Lovely little streams and paths following along side. We intentionally went late so we could do a night walk, well it didn't go quite to plan following some route's, to many paths at some points witch made us go off course due to the cattle making the paths. Got so lost a night haha
