I would like to start by saying that the staff here are really lovely!! We got tickets for both mazes. The corn maze was brilliant so much fun but health and safety in both mazes are an issue. In the corn maze there was a set of stairs on one of the watch towers that were unstable and stairs felt unsafe. In the activities maze we ended up taking my daughter out due to the safety issues. my daughter climbed up on apparatus you are supposed to jump from onto matts, it started to move and looked down and the wood holding it up was rotten. The climbing wall parts were loose and one falling off and the last one where they crawl and there was rope nets over head, they were secure some way round but then got to a point where i noticed it wasn't any more of a bit that was high enough up that if she fell it would have caused injury so took her out after that. Feel so conflicted leaving this review as the staff were so lovely but looked back on reviews after and people have been complaining about safety issues for a while.
Elton Mazes is a fantastic family day out. There are two mazes to enjoy – a large maize maze and a smaller willow tree maze. We chose the willow maze which really stood out with loads of activities hidden throughout, keeping our kids busy, and exploring for hours. It’s well designed, and full of little surprises that make it extra special. . A perfect mix of adventure and outdoor fun – highly recommend for families looking for something engaging and memorable.
Had a great day with my 8 year old. The activities maze was great fun and we sent most of our time in here. Lots of fun activities such as climbing through a spiders web and going through tunnels. The water sprays were appreciated as it was a hot day. You can bring your own food and they do reasonably priced food to. We had our packed lunch and shared a portion of chips for £3. Hot, crispy and a large portion. 100% will be coming back next year.
Went during school holidays with a friend and 4 children between us. They had a great time. The activity maze was lots of fun and that's what the children liked best. The other maze was also really cool to walk round in, and they have questions around it to hold the younger ones' interest. There's also a seating area where you can eat a picnic and the kids can play with the toys and in the small sandpit. They do have a small selection of food you can purchase too. Overall, it was a great day, and next time, I'll take the dog! I didn't this time as I was worried it world restrict where we could go but it wouldn't have at all (except the viewing platforms but they are small and dog can wait at the bottom with someone else if you really want to go up and have a quick look)
Have had a great few hours here today, went with 3 boys aged 9, 7 and 4. The big mazes were fab and the activities maze was so much fun and with the added bonus of some water spray to cool us down on a very warm day! Took our own picnic. Great place for a day out
