Great amenity for the local area. Things to note; the water is COLD, the changing facilities are just the toilets which arw crowded and quite dirty, there is a small 'cafe' which is more like a food truck. Overall, if you come prepared, it's a great place to spend a few hours in the hot weather for very little money.

One of the relaxing places in the Wellingborough which has playground, siting places, splash in summer time and beautiful canal is going along this place. In summer time, there are a lot of things to do at this place. Kids play and enjoy at splash which usually opens at 12 noon in good climate. Massive swans and ducks available so, You can feed enjoy with swan and duck not at car park area. If you’re interested in kayak, it is the super place to do with caution. Canal water is not clean and clear so check the condition before entering. A number of car parking places available with free of charge. A small food stall available in summer time. Super relaxing place especially in the evening to enjoy sunset with birds and nature.

A good place to walk with the children. Take plenty of bread to feed the swans. The embankment does tend to get flooded during winter and spring so be careful. The embankment is just a 20 minute walk away from the town Centre.

Free parking and splash pool. Great little cafe for munchies. Very friendly swans and a beautifully maintained walkway. It's a small park , but very kid n pet friendly. Splash pool open only weekends 12-6 pm. Its still going great

It was a great time at the river bank. We got to see many water birds. There's a caravan, selling not bad food, and drinks. All and all, it was time well spent.
