Oh my god what an amazing place. The drive around the valley scared me a little about how high my intended walk up Snowdon would be. I did the park n ride and then the pyg route up and miners down. This allows Amazing views and slightly quicker than others. Stopped at top to see the train and cafe. You have to do it.

Serene. Trying to drive up there is super steep and incredibly narrow, definitely quite dangerous especially if youre not comfortable with really steep sharp tight turns. But you can find a place to park a little bit before and walk up there. The lake is amazing, and you can hike up some of the hills/mountains nearby. Unsure if you are allowed to go fishing or anything in the lake, but would love to. The most impressive thing is that it was completely silent, no animals, or insects or birds. Technically there is a toilet, just one, dont use it.

We loved the train journey up to the top. We got lucky with the weather. Only criticism is that the time allocated to spend up the top before returning is not much.

Absolutely unreal scenery. Easily some of the best in Cymru. As soon as you enter the area anywhere you look has hills, lakes, mountains and waterfalls. A must to go if your in the area.

Stunning scenery! Range of landscapes to admire and enjoy. You walk along past the railway track, you can opt to catch the train up and down if you prefer. The walk itself is not overly strenuous, real range of people climbing from young children to older age range.
