The Eureka Science Park in Wallasey wasn’t really that fun for young kids. I only had one child with me, and she didn’t find much to engage with. Even for older kids, it felt flat. We’re all pressured to do things with the kids, but this was just not that good. The burrow soft play area was good, and she enjoyed that. There was also a free magic show that the kids liked, but it was extremely painful for parents to sit through—so bring snacks. Overall, this should be more interactive I understand the other Eureka sites are. For a science based park - the craft area was colouring in, where is the slime, chemistry etc were trying to engage in science not a paper based illusion from the 1800’s.

We were in and around in an hour, the boys loved it but it was short lived unless we missed areas, im not sure. As we'd never been before. The boys aged 7, 5 and 2 did love all the interactive parts to the museum.

Absolutely brilliant. I would recommend going to the soft play area sooner in your visit than we did as we weren't expecting our toddler to love it as much as she did and had a massive tantrum because she didn't want to leave 😂

We drove an hour and 25 minutes to visit Eureka! and Discover in Wallasey, and it was definitely worth the trip. There is a paid car park nearby, costing around £3–£4 for a few hours, with plenty of parking spaces. From the car park, there’s also a lovely view over the water looking towards Liverpool One, which is a nice bonus. We initially visited Eureka! in Halifax, and for an additional £16 we were able to upgrade to a year/annual pass, which also gave us access to Eureka! and Discover in the Wirral. For two adults and a two-year-old, we paid £60 in total for annual passes covering both Eureka sites, including Halifax and the Wirral, which we felt was excellent value. When we visited Wallasey, the place was very quiet, which meant we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. The centre is extremely interactive, with lots of hands-on activities to keep children engaged. My two-year-old especially loved the infant section, which is exclusively for younger children. It includes a small slide, child-friendly projections, and soft play blocks, all in a safe and welcoming space. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for young children to explore, play, and learn, and we’d happily visit again.

A really good family day out. Was sceptical at first due to the ticket price but then realised that that full price ticket is an annual pass and we can go back as many times as we like during the year. The activities for the kids were engaging and exciting. We spent nearly 5 hours there. The Burrows and the Cafe were great also. Would highly recommend.
