Deception Escape Room was brilliant! We had some great plot twists that kept us guessing and made the experience really exciting from start to finish. As a family of five, there was plenty for everyone to get involved with, so nobody felt left out. We had a fantastic time working together, solving the puzzles and enjoying the story. The hosts were excellent too — they were really friendly and knew exactly when to give us a clue at just the right time without giving too much away. They were very good at keeping the experience flowing and making sure we were all having a great time. Definitely recommend it!

We had a fantastic afternoon trying to escape from the Deception room today. It was absolutely choc full of really well thought out puzzles and we were kept busy for the entire 90 minutes. The theming is great and there’s also a bar with an excellent selection of drinks at very reasonable prices. The owner was so welcoming and asked our preferences re: receiving clues if we were struggling (the clues were massively appreciated, thank you!) We were informed a Christmas themed room is coming soon so we’ll definitely be heading back for some festive escape fun!

What an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome by the wonderful family who runs this business. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality really made our visit special. The axe throwing was incredibly fun, with great instruction and encouragement that made everyone feel comfortable and confident. The escape room was equally fantastic—challenging, exciting, and full of clever puzzles that kept us engaged from start to finish. You can tell this is a family-run business that truly cares about its customers. Their friendly attitude and enthusiasm created a fun and relaxed atmosphere that made our day unforgettable. We had such a great time and couldn't recommend them highly enough. If you're looking for a fun activity with excellent hosts, this is definitely the place to visit!!!!

We were a team of 5 girls, mixed age, celebrating a friens birthday. Loved every minute of our time in the Escape room. The Event organisers were very pleasant and happy to help. We will definitely be organising another challenge in this Escape room. Would recommend to anyone up for a fun filled, day out. Wishing the Events owners very best of luck for future.

Just been to the 1 Year Anniversary Party Night at Evadare. Axe Throwing, food, great bar, pool table, Karaoke and tons of fun. The axe throwing was fantastic. You get a briefing and demo and then get to experience practice throwing the axes, playing in small groups or one against one and then the hosts lead fun team games. Fantastic atmosphere, great bar prices and a great venue. They also have two escape rooms - Deception and Curious and Curioser with more rooms coming this year. Highly recommend.
