Had a brilliant day out at Exotic Zoo - a really good range of interesting animals to see and very well laid out. There was also a good choice of well-priced lunch in the cafe and the lady running it solo was a superhero! We did the VIP otter experience led by Kennedy, who was really friendly and knowledgeable - it was undoubtedly one of the best animal experiences we’ve done, and very well worth the price. We’d also heavily recommend checking out the museum section in the middle of the zoo, as it contained some really interesting fossils and actual bones of various dinosaurs and other ancient species.

Me and my partner done the otter experience at exotic zoo - the experience was 10/10 I would recommend- Simon the keeper who led the experience was the best, so kind and gave such interesting information about the otters. The zoo itself is so much fun - they sell feed so you can feed various animals, the staff are wonderful - especially the lady at reception she was such a delight. I would definitely recommend visiting if you haven’t already !

My sister and I visited Exotic Zoo on Saturday, 30th May 2026, for the Zoo Keeper Experience, and it was absolutely fantastic. Our experience began by meeting our keeper for the afternoon, Alex, who was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable from the very start. He took us behind the scenes to show us how the animals' food is prepared and explained the daily routines involved in caring for them. We then moved on to meeting and feeding a variety of animals. At each enclosure, Alex shared fascinating facts and information about the animals, making the experience both enjoyable and educational. He was also very mindful of the animals' welfare, explaining that the warm weather could affect some of their behaviour and letting us know what to expect. During the experience, we had the opportunity to feed a European fox, meerkats, a skunk, a kinkajou, otters, and a genet. We also attempted to meet the armadillo, but she wasn't feeling particularly sociable that day. Alex made us aware of this beforehand, which we appreciated, as it showed his understanding and respect for the animals' needs. What stood out most was that Alex never rushed us. He gave us plenty of time with each animal, answered all our questions, and ensured we got the most out of the experience. Overall, this was an amazing and memorable experience. Being able to interact with and feed animals that you wouldn't normally have the chance to encounter made it truly special. A huge thank you to Alex and the team at Exotic Zoo for such a wonderful afternoon. We would highly recommend the Zoo Keeper Experience to anyone looking for something unique and unforgettable.

We had a 30 minute ‘Meet the Lemurs’ experience at the Exotic Zoo in Telford and absolutely loved every minute of it! Kennedy was fantastic, so knowledgeable, friendly and clearly passionate about the animals. The lemurs were incredibly friendly and interactive which made the whole experience even more special, all the animals looked so happy and well looked after. Such a memorable visit and we’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

What a great little place this is! I went with my children aged 9 and 15 and we all loved it! Very reasonable entry fee and you can buy small packets of food so you can hand feed the goats and ponies which is amazing! They have a lovely selection of animals including otters, capybara, patagonian mara, parrots, owls and also an area of fossils etc which was great! Would definitely visit again.
