A South Edinburgh playground rebuilt in 2011 with a large pyramid climbing net, zip line, and surrounding fitness and sports facilities.

Rebuilt in 2011, Fairmilehead Park offers a satisfying mix of challenge and variety in a natural setting. The centrepiece is a large pyramid climbing net structure with slide, complemented by a zip line, rotating net roundabout, climbing wall, and various swings. The surrounding park extends the recreation options with fitness equipment, basketball hoops, and football goals. Accessible via a wooded path, the spacious grassed areas and wood chip surfacing create a pleasant atmosphere. Less than 20 minutes from central Edinburgh on Lothian Buses 11 and 15. Benches and picnic tables provide comfortable spots for supervising adults. Suits toddlers through teenagers.
