A fantastic experience. This is the best children’s farm we have been too, largely due to the ‘meet the animals’ session which allows your children to be surrounded by the various animals and feed them by hand. My 2 year old was absolutely delighted that he got to see his favourite animals up close. The staff were polite and friendly and it was very good value for money. Well worth a visit!

Amazing day out. The meet the animals experience comes included in the price and was far better than I've seen elsewhere. They held a chicken, and fed sheep, goats kids, as they ran around by our legs. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Exceptional play equipment!

A good farm animal petting & feeding experience for kids. Sheep, goats and pigs are all let in amongst the visitors to be fed by hand. Chicks are also handed to kids to hold. There are some other friendly farm animals outside. Plus a good hay bale maze and play areas for the kids. There’s a basic cafe and shop. It’s light on the more in depth education, focussing mainly on the experience. But what they do, they do well and there’s 2-3 hours of amusement for young children. They need to improve their approaches to inclusive access. 50p off concessions is hardly going to make it accessible for the less well off. Especially when there’s really no easy public transport links. Maybe a substantial discount if you can prove you came by bike, public transport or walked?

Wow what a fantastic family day out!! We came today and had a great day the new playareas looked great and lots of fun was had by all ages. My highlight was the meet the animal experience which was led by Abigail and Dale who were very friendly and knowledable about the animals. We had lamb and chicken cuddles and also fed the cheeky goats and cows as well as seeing the cutest piglets. We stopped for lunch in the cafe which was well priced and very tasty. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Great value for money.

THIS REVIEW IS BASED ON OUR XMAS TREE AND MEAT PURCHASE. TREE The last weekend in November my wife and I purchased our first ever real Christmas Tree. The service offered was great, nice bit of sausage to taste and some mulled wine. Choosing the tree was made easy thanks to the bloke helping he showed us a few trees and cut the end, then packaged it and took it to our car. It went up easy and stayed put until 1st January so about 5 weeks in total, few needles dropped, a top of water here and there and then lifted it outside with relative ease and still very few needles dropped. No dead areas if the tree or brown marks. We will certainly buy another tree from Farmer Gows next year. A tip - we put 2 massive bin bags over each end of the tree to carry to our cars and then dropped it off at Watchfield Recreauon Ground, no needles on the path of the car. MEAT We get fed up with Turkey and usually buy a small crown, a small beef and maybe pork, but always from a supermarket. This year we decided to get a larger piece of beef and from a farm shop, so as we were here we took a 1.5kg Topside well priced and frozen. We took this out the day before Xmas and it defrosted well and cooked the best tasting Xmas Dinner for a long long while. A large piece cooked at once we ate half on the day and a few days later a few slices air fried and then froze the rest until yesterday, when I had the remaining quarter cold with mustard - lovely 😍 All in all good value, and food taste. The service from the shop is good and the staff are friendly.
