We've been wanting to come here for a couple of year's when in the area. Entrance is £10 each, thought that was a little steep for a 3 year old. The farm has quite a few petting animals to feed in the barn, an outdoor play area with a large jumping pillow and an indoor play area with bouncy castles. The cafe has a good selection of food and drinks, they also offer Sunday roast dinner's and beer on draught. We had a decent couple of hours but just thought there might be a bit more to it, maybe because it was early season.
Kids loved it. All animals very friendly, not hiding in paddocks like most places, they actually run up to the fence. The highland cow was lovely, and the baby lambs were a winner. Good kids play areas (one inside) Food was great, very good breakfast and fairly priced.
Lots of different sheep, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, pony's and a highland cow to see and feed. Had loads of great fun and walked around the museum as well as played on the playground for hours. Fun was had by 3 generations!
The best breakfasts in the area. We go often. The petting zoo is fantastic and the museum is really fascinating. I really love this place for myself and for the children. If you're in the area its not a place to be missed. I highly recommend this place. Enjoy!
Excellent place to visit! Very welcoming, great price and thoroughly enjoyable day! We took our grandson and he loved it, the animals were all very gentle and feeding them was definitely his highlight! We loved it so much we are considering taking our dementia group! Thank you for a great Lancashire day out!
