Beautiful walks and lakes. Boating, play areas and boat trips with lots for children to enjoy, including a miniature railway.... lots of wildlife and 2 excellent cafes (1 overlooking a lake) lots of spaces with BBQs.... Toilets were clean and it has plenty of parking.... There's also the old Overton railway station just up the lane, with a cafe and gift shop.... We were sitting having a coffee on the platform when a steam train came in, absolutely took me back in time

If you are staying at the caravan site it is so convenient for walking, nene valley railway, play areas, activities, cafes, restaurants and the river, a real surprise!

Beautiful park with good walks, areas for picnic, two nice cafes and lots of things for children to do, especially the train ride.

Visited many times, but today just the wooden trail. However, the whole park it's perfect to go for walks, visit different sites like coffee shops, playgrounds for the children, ride on the train ( this will depend on the days and weather), and also boat rides (this is seasonal). There's a lot in here, as sometimes they do events as well. Always look at the website for what's happening. But, if you like nature like I do, Ferry meadows is a great escape from the town of Peterborough.
