Visit websiteOur first visit to this lovely small zoo, definitely wont be the last. They have a really wide range of animals, some rather unusual ones we'd never seen before at bigger zoos, and they all seem really well cared for. Our toddler loved it. Zookeeper Kelly was really helpful and knowledgable. Highly recommend!
A great wee zoo. It’s a tiny little place, but that means you can see all the animals for as long as you like! I took my 2 year old, and he loved it. It was the perfect size for him to walk around and have some independence, but I could always see him. The viewing areas are also very child friendly. I was delighted when the zoo keeper brought some treats for the lemurs so they’d come out of their enclosure and my son could see them up close. She also brought over a bearded dragon for him to interact with (safely!). He hasn’t stopped talking about it! Would absolutely recommend for smaller children, 10/10!
Really nice little Zoo, I would definitely recommend buying tickets online as they were a little cheaper but overall a really nice little zoo. It only take about 30 minutes to see everything. My favourite part was the tarantula, she was beautiful 😍 would come back again.
For the price you pay to get in it's a nice 1/2 day to take children. Up close and personal with some animals and staff were friendly I would definitely come back here and look forward to my next visit. Canteen onsite slightly pricey but the food was nice and made fresh.
Dropped in for a visit for somewhere different to have a zoo visit with the kids. After reading reviews I knew it would be small and I do feel that the prices do reflect this. It's well kept and the lemur walk was definitely a favourite. They also have a large cafe, a small outdoor playpark, small gift shop and lovely clean toilet facilities. Lots of space for parking which is free. Overall we spent around an hour and half taking our time. For a zoo just finding its feet it is worth a little visit if in the area.
