Bitterly disappointed here! Only saw one swan from a distance and two ducks flying overhead! It looked like it had fallen into disrepair, hence much of the pond area being inaccessible. I'm not sure the water was capable of supporting extensive wildlife as it looked 'dead'. Yesterday I was at Inverleith Park for the first time and it's everything you could want... 3 swans, 2 Canadian geese, moorhens, coots, mallards, tufted ducks, and a couple of species I didn't know. And of course the heron! I hand fed the pen, one of the moorhens joined me on the boardwalk for a snack and it was so cute when a bird I didn't know flew a couple of feet for food, instead of just swimming.

Quite popular park with large pond occupied by mute swans, mallard ducks, moorhens and a grey heron, an occasional visiting otter. Tarmac paths throughout the park either side of the Figgate Burn with bridges at three points. There is also a newly built childrens play/climb area. Some brilliant artwork on the underpass and storage containers.

Great spot for a Parkrun on a Saturday at 9:30am, keep in mind the triple loop. The boardwalk by the pond is a special feature of the park. Picnic benches and casual benches are scattered around the park. It's a kid friendly place to kick a football or take the baby for a walk in a buggy. Don't forget to stop off at the playground.

Really nice place to go walking with the dog. Lots of wildlife can be seen in the park, as well as the many friendly dog walkers out for a chat. The large pond was filled with ducks & swans & we spent a while looking at them.

Beautiful walks around the woodland park.. Great place for the kids to go feed the ducks and swans and birds. Unfortunately the play park was closed and did look run down. Please get this play park upgraded and open and will be even better place to visit.
