This park is absolutely amazing. Well worth the entrance fee. It has massive walks in the woods, that are just beautiful. Lots of play areas for the kids. The groundsmen are so lovely and helpful too. The gardens are huge and beautifully kept. There is a nice wee shop and the food at the cafe is lovely, albeit very expensive. I will definitely be back to go on more walks.

Beautiful estate for a walk, could easily spend the day there. Plenty to explore and lots of areas for kids. The cafe has recently been taken over, has a small area for toddlers to play and good local coffee. Didn't get a chance to try the new menu but it looks delicious and will definitely be back.

Very busy when schools are off and the weather is good, but only in the child areas, the trails are still quiet. Very quiet when it's wet. Has interesting walks if you like to walk your dog. Waterfalls, woods and burns keep a dog interested. Hidden walks for the more experienced Finalystone walkers. Lots of activities for the kids though, so great for young families. Cafe is perfect for a takeaway coffee. New dog park and extended trails make it super dog friendly!!

Visiting this estate is a really nice experience. It is a very. relaxing tranquil place There are many peaceful spots where you can marvel at the sheer explosions of Colour in the gardens .The house is not open to the public as it is occupied by the current clan McMillan chief and his family. There is a lovely garden tearoom, a big pond full of birdlife and and an adjacent animal sanctuary with separate entry which is only £2 extra. Very reasonable in this greedy age. Here you will find Alpacas, Llamas, beautiful horses and ponies. You can feed pigs.Pet Guinea pigs.Kids will love it. There is ample parking close to the tearoom. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Its a great day out.
