Fleetwood Beach, officially known as Marine Beach, offers families a wonderful coastal destination on Lancashire's northwest coast. This sandy beach is backed by a grassy promenade with views across Morecambe Bay, and on clear days, visitors can see all the way to the Lake District hills. The seafront area has been recently renovated and features the nearby Marine Hall and gardens. The beach provides plenty of family-friendly facilities and activities including a children's play area, crazy golf, model boating, and swimming between the red and yellow lifeguard flags during the seasonal lifeguard service. Dogs are welcome on most of the beach year-round, with restrictions only during summer months (June 1st to August 31st). The wider seafront area is packed with amenities including cafés, restaurants, shops, and picnic areas. The Beach Kiosk is a popular spot for refreshments. Beyond the beach itself, families can enjoy the town's leisure centre with an indoor swimming pool, boating pool, local museum, and numerous parks and gardens. The tidal variations create a dynamic beach experience, revealing vast expanses of sand at low tide and offering different activities throughout the day.

Lovely long sandy beach, all dog friendly from sept to spring (and a part dog friendly all year round). Lovely cafe / beach shop. Shells to collect and a lovely prom path to walk too. Two parks and a splash area in the summer.

I came here for a long beach walk that followed the southern route. There are lots of neat shells to find here as well as plenty of spots to hang out by the water in relative peace. The swimming here is also fun, though there is a strong current. I would only recommend that strong swimmers try going out in the water here

Fleetwood Bathing Beach is a quieter beach behind the measure centre that is reserved for people. Dogs are not allowed on that section of the beach. It has great views and nice sand and pebbled areas. It is also next to a play park, so it's great for kids . There is plenty of free parking in the area.
