We visited Flip Out for a school trip on Wednesday and it is safe to say all students had an excellent day! From the time of booking, Krystal and the team were brilliant with communicating with the school so that all arrangements were in place. On the day, with lots of students, Macie was fab getting all the students checked in and chatting with them. It made a busy process much more manageable. Kiera, Manager on the day made sure we had everything we needed and was great in helping to support students' needs. Sean and Luis and the team were great and enthusing the students, especially with Laser Quest, which they loved! A memorable day for all students - thank you to all of the Lakeside Flip Out team!!

The space itself is great; however, there were too many different prices being promoted throughout the venue and online, with no clear explanation for the differences. During the weekend/school holiday period, we saw several prices advertised for what appeared to be the same promotion during ng that period. When we asked for clarification, we received different answers each time, and no one apologised for the confusion. We followed the steps shown online, as the promotion was online-only, although this was not as well advertised as that. The discounted price did not appear, and we were later told that extra steps were required to access the offer. This was not made clear from the start. If booking online, I would recommend checking carefully for promotional prices before purchasing. The issue is not the money itself, but the lack of clear communication and good practice. Customers plan future visits based on the prices and promotions being displayed (in this case menus, flyers, posters all around)so it is frustrating when the reality is different. I also raised concerns with two managers and showed pictures of multiple signs displaying different prices for the same promotion (£16, £19.95, and £20 online). Rather than acknowledging the issue or apologising, I was simply told that the signs were “probably old ones”. There was no real interest in resolving the matter or acting on the feedback, and we were given different explanations regarding the booking system, which made the experience even more disappointing.

I loved my time here, very good quality facilities and activities suitable for all ages. I really enjoyed the host george who made my experience that little bit better through his friendliness and willingness to ensure we had a fun time. Great place!

I booked a birthday party at Flip Out Lakeside and unfortunately had one of the worst experiences ever. We booked the Platinum Birthday Package, yet throughout the party we constantly had to ask for items that were supposed to be included but were never provided. Our host, Hally, did try her best; however, it was very clear that she was inexperienced and unsure of what to do. Once her shift ended, we were left without a host altogether. During the party, the room we were in had a completely wet floor, and we were asked to move to another room. When the pizzas arrived, they were burnt and inconsistent. The pizzas were sent back three times before they were finally edible. The biggest issue was hygiene. Bins were placed close to open food, bins were overflowing, and tables were left uncleared. I raised these concerns with the Assistant Manager, Rebecca, who did not respond at all—not even an apology for the experience. I even showed her examples of the cleanliness issues and explained that with so many children around, hygiene needs to be constantly maintained. What is even more concerning is that cleanliness has been mentioned in several previous reviews, yet it clearly has not been addressed. The only person who acknowledged the situation and apologised was the other Assistant Manager, Lexy, who kindly gave us some extra time due to how delayed everything was. When I originally spoke to Millie in sales, I explained that this was my son’s 13th birthday and that I wanted it to be a memorable day. Sadly, it was memorable for all the wrong reasons. I strongly recommend that the franchisee invests in proper staff training and also values their staff more, as many of them looked like they did not enjoy working there. Very disappointing experience overall.
