A wonderful place to walk and explore. It has a nice little shop which sells ice cream, hot and cold drinks. First time ive been and loved it. The only thing i'd suggest is more signage with maps of where you are within the site

Foremark Reservoir is a peaceful nature spot with woodland trails, open water views, picnic areas and a small sandy‑style shoreline. It’s popular with families, walkers and dog owners, and offers a mix of short strolls and longer bridleway routes. The site is managed by the National Trust in partnership with Severn Trent, and has toilets, a kiosk, parking and a playground. Overall Experience Foremark is scenic, quiet on weekdays, and ideal for relaxed walks or a family picnic. There are benches, grassy areas, woodland paths and viewpoints across the reservoir. Wildlife is a big part of the experience, with over 200 bird species recorded. Practical Information - Opening times: Foremark typically opens around 08:00 and closes around 18:00, with the car park locked by 20:00. Last entry is usually 17:00–18:00 depending on season. - Parking: £6 all day or £3.50 for up to 4 hours. Payment is via machine or JustPark (no card at machine). National Trust members park free. - Facilities: Toilets, kiosk, picnic benches, playground, accessible paths and parking. - Dogs: Allowed but must be on a short lead around facilities, picnic areas and the bridleway. Helpful Tips - Avoid peak times: Hot weekends and bank holidays get extremely busy, with car parks filling and congestion at the entrance. Weekdays or early mornings are much calmer. - Bring change if needed: Some visitors mention needing coins for parking if not using the app. - No swimming or BBQs: Swimming is not allowed, and BBQs are banned. Security may ask people to leave the water if cleaning or safety issues arise. - Plan your route: Some reviewers say signage can be confusing, so check the map before setting off. - Dog owners: There are limited dog waste bins, so be prepared to carry bags out. - Kiosk hours vary: The kiosk may close early in poor weather. - Stay clear of roadside parking: Parking on nearby roads risks fines or towing. Who Will Enjoy It - Families wanting a simple day out with space to play - Walkers who enjoy woodland and reservoir views - Nature lovers and birdwatchers - Anyone wanting a quiet, easy-access outdoor spot

It’s a beautiful and peaceful place to relax, enjoy nature, and spend quality time with my partner. The scenery is stunning, the views across the water are lovely. Whenever I feel low or need some peace of mind, I come here, and it’s always a good decision. The calm atmosphere and beautiful surroundings never fail to lift my mood.
