This is worth a visit. Tom be honest we just when for a drink and found it quite nice. The latte and lemon and elderflower cake were very nice and we were able to sit in the shade. The food and drinks are served from a cabin outside, so it may not be so nice when the weather is bad, but most of the seats and tables are undercover. If you are into local history then this place has a lot of information, with the Needle Museum and the Bodesley Abbey ruins. Plus free parking! It is also an excellent place to start and finish a walk along the river Arrow and Arrow Valley park if you feel energetic.

How interesting can the needle making industry be right? But actually this is absolutely fascinating for anyone with an interest in history, industry, manufacturing, or and of the use cases for needles. Sewing, knitting, medical, or just the history of the town itself and the gruesomely dangerous but productive years of the industrial revolution. Highly recommended. As a bonus the displays about mediaeval Abbey in the museum next door as super interesting too if more pitched towards school kids. However also extremely well done.

An undiscovered gem of a museum. Very interesting and beautifully presented. There was a stitchwork exhibition when we were there and it was amazing. Well worth a visit

The staff are well versed on all aspects of this venue. It was a pleasure to visit,very well laid out and interesting throughout. Spent over 2 hrs here,worth every minute with a nice little cafe for snacks.Thanks. There was a lovely needlecraft display when we visited.
