Very fun day if you have children under a certain age, possibly under 6. I will be honest, it was a bit smaller than I expected from the online videos and social media, but me my wife and our almost 3 year old had a great day, our session was between 2pm and 5pm and it was dinosaur themed. Our wee girl had an amazing time and in turn that meant we enjoyed ourselves too! A lot of fun animal stops and lots of interaction which was great. If have older teenagers you maybe would struggle to fill the 3 hours but hey, give it a go by all means!

A good day out with the kids, birds, peacocks and a good variety of animals to experience, fun play area ( soft play as well, dinosaur world, staff brilliant, a bit expensive for children over 2 they charge the same as an adult. But a good day to experience.

Our visit to Fort Evergreen was one of those easy, feel‑good family days where the kids were entertained from the second we arrived. The donkeys were the unexpected highlight — they stood there happily soaking up all the attention while the kids chatted away to them like they were old friends. The Dino Dig was another big hit. They were fully committed to the archaeologist life, digging like they were about to uncover a real T‑Rex fossil and proudly showing off every “discovery.” And the soft play… that was basically their energy‑burning paradise. They vanished into it, reappeared red‑faced and sweaty, then dived straight back in without a second thought. Overall, Fort Evergreen delivered exactly what you want on a family day out: loads to do, zero stress, and happy, tired kids by the end of it.

What an excellent place to bring the kids. Open farm done right. Our kids had a ball. The facilities were brilliant. From play parks to picnic areas and lots of animals to see. The lifesize dinosaur show was a scream. Gotta say, the effort the owners have gone to is commendable and all the staff were really engaging. We will definitely be back.
