Had such a lovely day at Fort Knebworth at Knebworth House with my kids. The playground is amazing — really big, well designed, and perfect for keeping little ones entertained for hours. There’s so much to climb, explore and run around, it never gets boring. It felt very safe and open, which made it much easier visiting on my own with two children. The surrounding space is beautiful too, perfect for a picnic and a relaxed day out. We also stopped by the café for ice cream, and the staff were very polite and friendly, which made the experience even nicer. Overall, such a calm and enjoyable day — highly recommend for families. We’ll definitely be back!

We visited Knebworth Playground with our 1.5-year-old son, and it was honestly one of the best family play areas we’ve ever experienced in the UK. Everything feels designed with children of all ages in mind – from the gentle slides and sand areas for toddlers to the adventurous climbing frames for older kids. The space is beautifully maintained, safe, and surrounded by stunning parkland. One of the most magical parts: from parts of the playground and nearby clearings you can see the free-roaming red deer herd grazing in the historic deer park — that was so impressive for us, especially our little one stopped in his tracks to watch! The staff are wonderfully friendly and caring – always smiling, helpful, and genuinely excited to see children enjoying themselves. A perfect stop for families visiting from London — worth every minute of the journey and it's price!

Really nice park for kids. At £14 per person I would expect parts of the playground to be full of animal poop. Also, don’t buy a coffee - worst flat white I’ve had in my entire life at an extortionate £4.

Take your kids here. Its safe, sooooo much fun, there's the dinosaur trail & gardens AND food & drink are actually reasonably priced so you won't get fleeced. If you want to tire out the kits in the holiday, come here for the day. Bring a picnic, have fun and all for £48 for a family day ticket.
