This is my local driving range. Range is well equipped with all bays having tracers, the range itself is well kept and visually appealing to hit into. Staff are all super friendly and welcoming. Lessons are available and my experience with Paul is that he is patient and accommodating - my only note is the booking could be simpler on the website. Food is decent in the bar area and I recommend the full English. Pro shop is well stocked, they have fitting days and everyone is happy to assist with any queries. There is also a club builder/fixer attached to the pro shop. Nice bloke in there who has regripped my clubs and made some adjustments there and then if he has had time. Overall a great experience and if you fancy taking the family there is a mini golf section in the front.
Driving range advertised as closing at 6pm. Arrived at 5:20pm with my 6 yr old daughter. Told they were closed last balls 5:15pm. Daughter very upset. Assured them we’d only be 20 mins just so my little one can hit a few balls. Another man came out and reiterated the rule. I asked him why, he said if he let us through others on the range would complain. There was no operational or technical reason why we couldn’t play. Poor form. We left, daughter sad and clearly shocked. Disappointed tbh. Can’t get my head around someone taking that stand with a 6 yr old showing an interest in the sport. It says 6pm online, it’s a fair misunderstanding. Shocking decision. Thankfully, we found another quite close and enjoyed our afternoon, and it turned into a valuable lesson of resilience for my daughter. Been many times to Four Ashes before, it’s an okay venue but nothing special. The other place we went to near Hampton in Arden is miles better. If you want views and better prices go there. Bays are bigger with more space too, and no closing 40m before advertised!
Fabulous crazy golf and a great golf range. Crazy golf has a good range of obstacles and attractive landscaping. Range has well priced balls, a morning happy hour with cheaper prices and a discount for regulars that preload their card. The staff are lovely on both the range and the cafe. Always friendly and helpful.
Loved the driving range experience. The staff was very helpful.
