Become a Family MemberSo so badly run. Spend your money elsewhere. They charged us for socks for our newborn baby “that’s the rules sorry nothing we can do a baby is classed as anyone under 5” and also after paying £21 entry, refused my 3 year old a cup of tap water “we can’t run a business giving out free stuff” so had to buy a bottle of water. It’s illegal to refuse tap water. Staff are such rude killjoys. It’s meant to be a place of fun but it’s the exact opposite. Won’t be back.
The kids had a great time here and enjoyed every aspect. Toilets need a good make over but other than that it was all good. I even got a gluten free pizza from the cafe which is totally rare !
My kids came with their cousins today. We didn't have to wait in the queue. Time flew by as kids had so much fun, Peter couldn't do enough for us his service was exceptional. Kids enjoyed it that much that we have booked it again. Kids have said " it was fun-tastic ". Thank you to the staff in Fun Parx Dundee.
Friendly staff good selection booked the 7-8pm slot hoping it would be quite it was! But at 7.30pm staff closes the slides, yes kids weren't on them at the time but after 20mins of a child in our party asking to go on we went and asked a lady who was hovering the ninja section she told us she would find someone as she's not allowed to leave hoover unattended for too long! Someone opened them and he got 2 more shots before a quick round at the arcade section then we had come to the end of our session. Staff were basically running out the place like I also do when my shift ends but maybe don't have a slot right up to the end of their shift so they can clean and clear up without us all feeling awkward wanting to go on sections that's closed or in the middle of cleaning I also visited the loo at 7.55 and a staff member started knocking to make sure I was leaving. The last 30mins just made us all feel unwelcome not staff's fault if they finish at 8 no wonder they want to leave but maybe don't have a 7 till 8 slot!
2 hours of play for 4 participants plus socks for everyone came to £69 (would have been less if I had chosen to spectate rather than participate). There was a small queue on arrival, but we moved through fairly quickly into the safety brief then through to the main area to find a table. We got a table close to the inflatable section, which was great as we could keep an eye on all the areas. Only criticism for the spectators area would be that we sat at a table that was needing cleaned, so asked a member of staff to take away the rubbish but the staff member never returned and we ended up just clearing the table ourselves on the way out. Maybe another bin required there to encourage others to do the same. Some of the rules are a bit confusing for kids, as different parts require shoes (ninja part and arcade). Plenty to keep the kids occupied and cafe was reasonably priced. Could do with a bigger selection of crisps and sweets but managed to get something for all the kids in the group. The cafe sells red bull and monster, which is exactly what I need as a parent when coming to places like this, so Funparx gets some bonus points here! I think having menus on tables would be helpful.Overall, the kids loved it and are keen to come back. Enjoyed the variety of equipment but that pink slide is lethal if you are over 30 😂
