Went here mid week arrived as it opened. It wasn't busy so we had plenty of time to see all the animals and birds. There's some incredible birds here we were really surprised how big some of them are. The birds are all caged but you can get really close and nearly all were close to the nets so we had a great experience. There's a little coffee shop which we were glad of, today is 32C there's plenty of shady spots. The staff were all pleasant and most said hi to us with a smile which made all the difference! Sadly we couldn't stay to see any of the four flying displays. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic Bird of prey centre, wonderful flying displays and talks. Really good afternoon and kids loved the closeness of the birds during the flying demos. Staying for the 3pm show is a must, so many birds flying at once, its a real spectacle. The enclosures are really nice with a big selection of birds to see. There was also a meet a snake and iguana on the day we were there, which the kids loved. There is a small kids playground, a nice cafe with paninis and sanwhiches.

Amazing place. Run by a family passionate about birds and very committed to conservation projects, including a very important project in Africa. So many flight displays on the Sunday afternoon we came, with all the birds free to fly off as long as they wish. I've never learned so much about birds of prey, and all the birds were visibly well, nesting etc ...this was by far the best centre I've visited.

I cannot express how thrilled I was with my Vulture experience day at Gauntlet birds of prey. The lady leading my experience was called Megan, and you know when you can tell someone is super passionate about what they do, care heaps and are just a wealth of knowledge? All of that. Add onto that, so friendly and funny. Megan really made my day quite special. The birds are so loved and cared for, they are happy and chirpy. I will recommend and recommend Gauntlet to anyone interested in birds of prey. I had an absolute blast and met an incredible team of people with a lot of love for birds. What an absolutely amazing place. Our visit was one of their afternoon tea days that I had purchased for the wife's birthday. She's very much into birds of all kinds. The information they give and the obvious love and devotion to all their birds and animals is fantastic. It's lovely to see the birds being able to fly freely with no constraints just a tracker so they can be monitored and located. Two sessions split by a lovely afternoon tea was two hours very much enjoyed. You also get time pre and post sessions to walk round the areas where the birds and animals live(you've got to love a cheeky meerkat 😊). Well worth the visit and we'll definitely look at some of the other sessions they do for another visit.
