Fabulous National Trust property. Lots of walking trails of varying lengths. The hall and the orangery are now ruins but must have been spectacular. Plenty of parking spaces and a minibus for anyone unable to manage the boardwalk. Nice cafe and a pizza place( check opening times) Dog friendly everywhere.

What a beautiful place to visit. Lovely walled gardens and picturesque woodland walks. Very easy to spend the whole day here taking everything in. Definitely well worth the visit if you get the chance.

Winter walks are so different to spring / summer. So definitely going back to see flowers in bloom. Nice cuppa from cafe sitting outside as for once the weather eased up. Almost followed one of the trails but missed one sign but paths were much better than other country walks.

Fantastic place for a dog walk. I go with my 2 dogs- I've found the staff are friendly and welcoming and the lady even gave my dogs a treat on arrival. There's so much beautiful wildlife around and just lots to see if you enjoy being surrounded by nature. The dog park is a great little area, my 2 enjoyed having a run around off lead. We look forward to our walks here now every month!

Lovely estate with great countryside walks for all abilities. Has several parts of the old estate to explore and has great cafe facilities. The wood fired pizza was particularly good! Always had good seasonal events on. Obviously a great day out when the weather is good but thoroughly enjoyed a winter’s walk there recently.
