A very pleasant and peaceful place. There is not much left to view, however it is free and the gardens well maintained.

Gisborough Priory is dramatic, the largest piece of ruin is the beautiful church end. There's a wonderful little path though the woodland and the cathedral of trees. Entry is free, and the lady at the entrance was really helpful and friendly. There's some more information in the hut, as well as some trinkets for sale too. Well worth a visit, but no parking on site, head for one of the car parks inside the town. Checkout the church next door too

Well worth a visit (free entry) if you have an hour or so to spare. NB opening times not every day. Friendly staff, helpful guide leaflet with map. Interesting remains (East End), garden and dovecot. NB: Nearest parking next to church and priory (chargeable @ £2/hr). Local street parking is residents only, so beware!

Lovely way to spend an hour or so if you are in the area. Great cafe (oddsocks) and cocktail bar (twisted peel) nearby too. Totally run by volunteers, who are happy to give you info on the place and history. Gorgeous cathedral of English lime trees there. What's not to like. 😊

Free to get in and easy to miss. What's left of the old priory and dove cote set in well kept grounds. Well worth a visit if you're in Guisborough.
