A beautiful reserve with a varied selection of wildlife and insects, especially the dragonfly's. Paths are well maintained.

We visited towards the end of June 26. Quite a large portion of the path is overgrown, manageable but wear long trousers. If you do the 4.3km circular trail clockwise, there are lots of signs saying no dogs allowed. Apart from a few reviews saying that 'there are parts dogs aren't permitted', there is nothing on the signs at the reserve to say this. Moreover, if you do the 4.3km walk counterclockwise, you would not see any signs saying no dogs allowed. Apart from that, it is a nice location but just needs to be managed a bit better.

Beautiful location & fabulous for water bird spotting! 🔭 note its dog friendly however there are parts of the reserve where dogs are not permitted. Car park entrance is bumpy so extra care needed to not damage vehicles & I wouldn't advise taking low cars. Lovely little farm shop just down the road from the entrance with a beautiful coffee shop and seating area.

Great reserve. Great to get back on it now that it's open after the landslip. Very muddy after the Coronation day rain and wellies were crucial. Excellent range of birds. Small car park, can handle 8-10 cars.

Beautiful countryside walks along nice proper English wildlife and plants. This park is an absolute gem hidden down a small country track. With apple trees and willow trees all over and large grass meadows which in hindsight would be a perfect spot for a picnic with family or just a dog as company! Dogs welcome and walk is nice and flat. Can walk as far as you choose with the ability to turn back anytime. Really good bird/wildlife hide for watching or photography. There's a lovely raised wooden walkway to get to the hide through a willow wetland. Parking was limited to a handful of cars so it can't ever be too busy. Multiple ways onto the lands it seems to enjoy it though.
