Visited today with 2 toddlers with needs. As usual the staff were fantastic and helpful. Sienna went above and beyond playing with my child on the trampolines while I was dealing with my other child. Planning my retuen next week. Thank you.
I'm writing to express my disappointment and concern about an experience my 12-year-old daughter had at Urban Jump Trampoline Park in Heathfield today. She arrived with her friends, excited for a fun session, and she had brought her own proper grip socks (the kind specifically designed for trampoline parks with non-slip dots on the bottom). These were clean, in good condition, and ones she's used safely at other similar venues before. However, when she went to check in and pay, the staff informed her that she wasn't allowed to use her own socks and would have to remove them and buy a pair of Urban Jump's branded ones instead. This came as a complete surprise to her, as there was no clear prior warning about this strict "only our socks" rule when we looked into the visit or on any obvious signage she noticed. As a result, she had to use the money she'd brought along specifically for food and snacks to cover the cost of the Urban Jump socks. After paying for her jump session and the mandatory socks, she was left with no money at all for anything else during her time there. She's now really upset and called me in tears because she's stuck without any cash for a drink, snack, or anything small while her friends can get something. I understand parks have safety rules around grip socks, but enforcing only branded ones—and not accepting clean, suitable alternatives—feels unfair, especially for a child who came prepared. It put her in an awkward and stressful position, having to choose between following the rule and going hungry/thirsty, or missing out on the fun she'd been looking forward to. I'd really appreciate it if someone could look into this policy, explain why outside grip socks aren't permitted (even if they're equivalent), and perhaps consider some flexibility or a refund/compensation for the unnecessary sock purchase in this case. My daughter is still there with her friends right now, feeling quite distressed about the whole thing. Thank you for your attention—I hope this can be sorted out quickly. Subject: Thank you for the kind gesture today + follow-up on socks policy Dear Urban Jump Heathfield team, Just a quick update following my earlier email/message about my 12-year-old daughter's experience today. One of your staff members kindly found her after she'd called me upset and gave her a slush puppy, which was a lovely thoughtful thing to do—she really appreciated it and it brightened her afternoon. Thank you to whoever that was. That said, the underlying issue with the grip socks policy still stands. She arrived fully prepared with clean, grippy socks suitable for trampoline parks (the same type accepted at other venues), but was required to buy your branded pair instead, using her snack money and leaving her with nothing left for food/drink. The staff's gesture helped, but it shouldn't have been necessary in the first place. From your FAQs, it looks like the rule is strictly "wearing grip trampoline socks" for safety, but it doesn't explicitly say they must be your branded ones (though in practice, it seems they are). Many parks allow equivalent non-branded grip socks if they're in good condition. If that's not the case at Urban Jump, perhaps clearer advance info on the website/booking page or at the entrance could help parents and kids prepare (e.g., "Only Urban Jump branded grip socks permitted—no exceptions"). Thanks again for the positive staff interaction today—it's much appreciated.
This place is great for an hours blast with energetic kids! Cafe is pretty decent, all areas clean, check-in & safety briefing etc all smooth and even with parties going on theres enough space for bouncing. The only downside is bigger kids hogging the dodgeball / foam pit / dual pit areas - they need to be moved along after an alotted amount of time really. My 2 kids struggled to use it and there was a whole party of kids that probably would've loved to use it too. They shouldn't be allowed to stay in these areas the whole time. Staff ARE approachable but perhaps not all have the confidence to deal with a big group of older kids? The Rainforest obstacle course is a great touch. My Boys had a great time but came away disappointed and annoyed with having missed out on some areas! Otherwise a great place to burn off kids energy.
Great place to have trampolines indoors. Open on weekends. Food is also available inside to purchase. A session will last for an hour. Advanced booking is recommended, however, you can buy tickets at the entrance based on the avalability.
Come here once many occasions, always for my kids and highly recommend. Came as part of a local youth community group on this occasion so was a great for the kids feel like they had the place to themselves. Already planning a return trip for the summer. Amazing use of space they everywhere you look there is something to do and enjoy. Great amount of seating and good size accommodating cafe with reasonable pricing
