Spending time at Goodmayes Park was such a refreshing experience. This park is a wonderful green space that feels like a quiet sanctuary in East London. My favorite part was the local wildlife; the squirrels are incredibly friendly, and seeing the groups of birds gathered along the tree-lined paths was a delight. The park is beautifully maintained, with long, shaded avenues of trees that are perfect for a morning stroll or an afternoon jog. It has a very peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to relax, clear your head, or enjoy a picnic. It is one of those local gems that offers a perfect balance of open fields and cozy, wooded corners. Tips for your visit: • Wildlife Photography: Keep your camera ready as the squirrels are quite active and make for great close-up shots! • Walking Paths: The main paths are wide and well-paved, suitable for all fitness levels and comfortable for a long walk. • Best Time: Visit during the early morning or late afternoon for the best natural lighting through the trees. • Location: It is a hidden gem in the Ilford/Goodmayes area, very easy to reach for a quick nature break. A visit here is a great way to appreciate the simpler, greener side of the city. Highly recommended for nature lovers.

Such a calm pleasent and amazing place to visit with my 8 month old. Me and my baby enjoyed our walk and thiwhole evening.

Nice big lake in park to bring out more locals of this area so they can enjoy their time in park. Good to see a lot of joggers, cyclists, pet lovers and sports lovers. There's separately children play area. I enjoyed sunset while short time stay in this park.

For me, it wasn't much of an interesting park. It does have a pond and some waterfowl (mallards, Greylag geese and Egyptian geese). I visited on a sunny day but did not spend more than 20 minutes here. Also the woods by the pond were festooned with litter
