A lovely quite place for a relaxing stroll and watching nature. Wetlands, woodland and bird hides. Run by very helpful and friendly volunteers. Entrance fee for day visits or membership available (very responsible price). Bring a picnic as no shop or cafe. Toilets are on site.

Fantastic tranquil nature reserve. We popped in one Sunday morning and ended up spending 3-4 hours here, walking all the paths and bird watching. It's so peaceful, especially when you're in the middle and the cars sound so far away. Such a great variety of flora and fauna. The birds are definitely hard to spot if you're walking around, but the hides are great for that reason. The entry fee of £5 is well worth it to support this great place!

If you like a peaceful walk through woods, listening to hundreds of wild birds and watching water birds from hides then this is the place to visit. Flat surfaces and walkways all around a well maintained wood and wetland.

We did not choose a good day for birding but we did see some birds and deers. However we enjoyed the good walk following the trail. Will come back in another season or day. Tickets available online.

What a little gem of a place. Great nature walk with so much to explore and find you just have to look. This place will take you away from a busy day to relax and wander and discover. Great place for all of the family.
