The displays were very interesting and I would recommend scanning the QR code for highlights. The volunteers were very well informed.
Beautiful museum, it’s not so big, there’s tables to sit and write or draw and there’s soooo many things to see and read from.
Fascinating collection of skeletons, microscope slides, taxidermies, insects, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had a great time but it was a bit crowded due to the small space, so maybe go when it's quieter.
Unexpected and weird fun was had at this animal museum. Containing everything from insects, mammals, reptiles, fish, creepy crawlies and anything else this museum was fascinating. No queue as instant entry but check the website for opening times and days too as not the usual every day or time either. Staff greet you on entry and give you a quick run down of house rules that includes no eating and drinking on premises. There’s an activity table with coloured pencils and sheet to keep busy. Many items to see and clearly labelled too so you know what you’re looking at.
The Grant Museum of Zoology is a fascinating place for anyone interested in natural history. The collection is diverse, featuring everything from skeletons and preserved specimens to rare and unusual animals. The exhibits are well labeled and informative, making it easy to learn about the specimens and their scientific significance. The museum has a quirky, intimate atmosphere that makes exploring the collections really engaging. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, happy to answer questions. It’s a small but incredibly rich museum that’s perfect for a curious visit in London.
