Just popped in for a nice cold drink and sat outside in the sun 🌞. Not too bissy very pleasant. Was going to get a sharing ice-cream looked delicious 😋 (but wouldn't want to share lol 😆 😜 ).

WOW! What a pleasure it was to have held my 3 year old first ever birthday party at this Wacky Warehouse. Tracy and Sophie were the staff on shift for this Saturday. They were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived for set up. We were able to come early, put our decorations up and were very happy to see that they'd already set up the tables and food setting with drinks and plates. They offered multiple times to help with banners, bunting and balloons. Nothing was too much trouble. We were nervous as we had never held a party before but they were so calming and supportive. They ran through the routine of what usually happens at other parties there. They took the cake and had candles for when it was time to sing happy birthday. They honestly made us feel as though we had family with us to get everything done to a high standard to ensure all guests enjoyed themselves completely. I am so grateful for it being Tracy and Sophie there that day and this experience has made me want to return on a regular basis for my children to play. If you ever read this, then THANK YOU so much for everything.

We stayed in the hotel opposite for a week so the pub was convenient to eat in or have drinks. Over the week, we had about 4 nights in the pub and a Sunday lunch. The food is great value for money. It was hot and it was tasty. It's not Gordon Ramsey it's about £12 for two Sunday dinners... It's obvious that a great team spirit prevails in the Gretna. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Always a nice hello with a smile. In particular, Liv and Layla, who really brightened our evenings with their ready smiles and great personalities. Got to mention Alex and Steven to, thanks to you all. Top team!

Ignore all the bad reviews!! This place is great for kids. The food is ten times better than any other soft play in the area. The soft play is brilliant for kids and the entrance is reasonable. The staff are brilliant! Tracey and Lisa are fabulous. Nothing is too much trouble for them to ensure the kids/family have a great time. Isaac has loved this place since he was 2/3 and he still loves it now. Thank you Tracey and Lisa for making our visits so lovely.

We had dinner and then breakfast at the Gretna Green... Dinner was reasonable although a few things not available on the menu. Plenty of variety of options on the menu, as you would expect from a Hungry Horse pub. Kids enjoyed their kids meals and we all had some ice cream afterwards. The adult meals were OK, the wife had a Tikka stack, the Tikka sauce wasn't the best... I had the Korean Chicken Burger which was alright. The chips came with a Chinese seasoning which was nice. Ice cream was good, although the large chocolate mania never had any of the brownie bites or the chocolate caramel finger in it - just loads of smarties. Breakfast wasn't the greatest - they really need to provide toast for the table or get a decent toaster as it was rubbish. Cooked breakfast you order from the waitress and they cook for you. Kids weren't keen on the sausages, and the scrambled egg wasn't all that... The pub is very child friendly, so if your looking for somewhere to eat without feeling like you are upsetting other dinners then this is a great option.
