Very interesting, well presented, & the local fishing community must have been part of the design team to make it so real and also accessible. Thanks for a really good tour of the boat. Would recommend checking times for tour of the trawler & maybe booking ahead for that.

What great day out!! Well thought out museum with the smells and sights of the old trawler days. Tour around the Ross Tiger was excellent, the old 3rd hand made all the difference with his tour engaging with the children to make sure they all was included. This is a gem and a credit to Grimsby, I can only hope our one in Hull will be half as good as this.

Came to Grimsby on a road trip with our friend and planned to check out the nearest beach, but ended up walking towards the Ross Tiger instead. Such a hidden gem, really quiet and peaceful. Glad we found it, definitely a nice place to visit :)

Myself and the family have visited the fishing museum. And all of us really enjoyed it. Some of the set up rooms are dark and have mannequins in them witch could be a little scary for younger children. As our 3 years old daughter was abit scared but the reception staff hand out bags with fun things in and a torch for them. My 9 year old son loved it tho. We paid for the extra tour for the trawler boat out side and it was well worth it as it was brilliant. Special mention to Conor the tour guide for the trawler bout. He was very knowledgeable and made it funny.

There is so much to see that I believe you need at least half a day here! It represents excellent value and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I also understand that on a certain day each week the retired deep sea fisherman get together in the café and relate their stories and experiences. As you walk through, you read and experience the duties of each of the trawlers crew - what a life! This is backed up by visual scenes of being on-board a trawler with sounds and even its smells and then the return home trip - love the return home joke! There is simply too much to describe and highly recommend a visit. Oh, and dont forget to pick up your certificate!
