We had a great time. No queues, friendly staff and suitable rides for 5 to 13 year olds. It was a bit tatty throughout, some things didn't work (laser shooters on a train ride) but in my opinion, that added to the charm of the place.

We took our 4 year old over the early May bank holiday. This attraction is perfect for children. The scenery is beautiful and there's plenty of rides with several outdoor play areas. Even on the bank holiday, you didn't have any queues for rides or they were minimal waiting time (10 minutes most). Good choice of picnic areas and lots of toilets. The food vendors were of course not cheap, but also not a complete rip off. We had a hot lunch as a family of 3 for £35.00 and the quality was better than expected. The only downside if this place is on a very steep landscape but we knew this from visiting ourselves in the 90's as children. Get the chair lift up and work your way down. Thank you for letting us relive our own amazing childhood memories with our own son. We look forward to returning later this year!

We had a great time at the Gulliver's Matlock resort for a suprise birthday trip. The kids (5-13) loved the park, and because it was not too busy we got to go on the rides we liked multiple times. Great assortment of rides aswell. We stayed in a wizard themed room in the park that was fun and added a touch of magic to the trip. Amazing views of Matlock from the balcony. Great fun for all the family!

Great place for the kids but theme park is only open at the weekend at this time of year. Rooms are great but breakfast can be pricy so would suggest taking your own cereal as there is a fridge in the room for milk. Loads to explore in the town, amazing sights nearby.

Came here for the first time 3 Apri. While it is dated in places, could not fault the service here...the staff absolutely brilliant and could not do enough for you. Special shout out to the resort girls who do entertainment for kids, reception, maintenance and Paul who is an absolute star. The kids of course loved the mascot Mouse and enjoyed all the rides. The people at rides are so friendly and helpful too. I can't imagine it's an easy job but they do it with a smile and a kind word. Spent a great weekend here and cant recommend it enough! With holiday prices on the up, the good old British theme park about to be popular again and ask kids...they would come here in a flash.
